Reproducible Reports with R Markdown
Reproducibility of data analysis is an important skill in data science and collaboration. We will teach R Markdown, a powerful method for improving reproducibility. R Markdown is a literate programming method that can incorporate code, plots, and text into seamless reports in html, Word, and pdf formats. When the data is updated, entire reports and results text can be regenerated easily. R Markdown can also be used to integrate R code and code from other programming languages (e.g. python, SAS, STATA). We will go over the basics of markdown syntax, R Markdown, and knitr. Prior experience with R and Rstudio is required. Students must have Rstudio installed. Novice R users must review prior BERD course materials for ""Introduction to R and Rstudio"" https://github.com/jminnier/berd_r_courses For more information about this R Markdown class and resources please visit https://rmarkdown.rstudio.com/lesson-1.html
