Training Program Description

Ethical delegation of authority is key to maintaining compliant clinical trial practices. However, the growing complexity of today’s clinical trials continues to make adequate oversight of research operations more difficult.

During this presentation, Wendy Tate, Director of Data Analytics at Nimblify, and Mariette Marsh, Director of the Human Subjects Protection & Privacy Program at the University of Arizona, will discuss ethical considerations for delegation of authority, including factors to consider when determining which tasks should or should not be delegated. The two presenters will also explain why it’s more important than ever to standardize operating procedures and guidelines to ensure delegation of authority meets NIH and GCP recommendations.
